Mit Joshua Epstein hat der künstlerische Leiter der „tonkunst“, Alban Beikircher, einen Magier der Geige ins „Alte Kloster“ gebracht...„Etude en forme de valse“. Was anfangs an verspielte Salonmusik im Dreivierteltakt erinnerte, entfernte sich rasch von möglicher Walzerseligkeit, zeigte mal delikate, mal zigeunerhafte Züge mit einer rasanten Geige, die sang und schrammte, dass die Beifallsstürme des Publikums nicht enden wollten.
